ARMO-Systems presented the AV.TT.6383 tripod turnstile from AVIX with many automatic functions, including a re-entry ban, burglary protection, anti-panic mode (emergency unlocking), etc.

This model is available in a stainless steel case with IP54 dust/moisture protection and operates stably at external temperatures from -20 to +70 °C (optionally from -40 °C), which allows it to be used outdoors under a canopy. At the same time, the tripod anti-panic turnstile provides a throughput of 30–35 people/min and is designed for 5 million operation cycles.

Support for emergency unlocking, the so-called "anti-panic" mode, allows for unimpeded evacuation of people through the AVIX AV.TT.6383 tripod turnstile in the event of a power failure. In this case, the barrier rod automatically "falls" and the passage is unlocked (in accordance with fire safety requirements). At the same time, the anti-panic tripod turnstile has protection against electric shock: all its electronic components are designed to operate at a safe voltage of 24 V and are equipped with a residual current device. To simplify maintenance, the AV.TT.6383 turnstile uses a self-diagnostic mode.

Constant control of the passage area by AVIX AV.TT.6383 turnstiles and intelligent management of people flows provide increased protection of the access point. Passage through the tripod turnstile anti-panic is implemented according to the principle of "one card - one person" using a monitoring system based on infrared sensors. At the same time, the AV.TT.6383 models provide for automatic cancellation of access if the user has identified himself, but has not passed through the turnstile within a specified time. In addition, this tripod turnstile supports the anti-burglary function, automatically blocking the rotary mechanism in the event of an unauthorized attempt.

The AVIX AV.TT.6383 can be integrated not only with building access control systems, but also with toll entry systems, ticket systems, breathalyzers, etc. For this purpose, the tripod turnstile provides for the installation of additional equipment "on board", including card/QR code readers and biometric terminals from various manufacturers. Depending on the "filling", the anti-panic tripod turnstile can be used in business centers, office and administrative buildings, banks, museums, educational institutions, passenger transport hubs and other facilities. At the same time, it provides a throughput of 30-35 people/min.

High performance characteristics of the AV.TT.6383 model allow using this tripod turnstile outdoors: its body is made of stainless steel, has an IP54 protection rating and is designed for outdoor placement under a canopy. Thanks to the brushless DC drive, the anti-panic tripod turnstile is characterized by stable and reliable operation, low noise level (≤50 dB) and an optimal mean time between failures, which is up to 5 million cycles. At the same time, for visual assessment of the turnstile status and the direction of passage, a built-in LED indicator is provided on the top cover of the body and side posts of the AV.TT.6383, respectively.
