This 1000mm arched metal detector can be used in hospitals, train stations, airports, shopping and office centers, concert venues, stadiums, etc., has an operating temperature range from -20 to +60 °C and is highly noise-resistant.
The increased width of the passage - 1000 mm - ensures comfortable use of the ST-MD018X metal detector for people in wheelchairs, overweight people, and those with baby carriages. This is important for medical, government institutions and transport infrastructure facilities, where it is necessary to ensure unimpeded access for all categories of citizens. In addition, the 1000 mm arched metal detector allows two people to pass through at the same time (for example, an adult with a child), thus accelerating the flow at mass events and reducing the likelihood of queues.
The well-thought-out design allows the metal detector to be used in both heated and unheated areas of railway stations, airports, shopping and office centers, concert venues, stadiums, etc. Moisture-resistant and fire-resistant materials are used in its manufacture, and the operating temperature range is from -20 to +60 °C. For ease of manual adjustment, the 1000 mm arched metal detector is equipped with a 3.5” display, but at the same time provides the ability to self-calibrate and self-diagnostic. In addition, the ST-MD018X has a counter of passages and alarms, which can be used to collect statistical data, for example, as part of an access control system.
The presence of 18 detection zones in the arched metal detector, the sensitivity of which is adjusted within the limits sufficient for detecting both weapons and small metal objects, simplifies the process of inspecting visitors. In such cases, the need for additional inspection using a hand-held metal detector and repeated passages through the "frame" is reduced to a minimum, since such a multi-zone arched metal detector at 1000 mm allows the operator to determine not just the presence, but the approximate location of the object on the human body.
A special signal processing algorithm helps the metal detector automatically cut off external interference from wiring and electrical equipment and, thus, minimize false alarms. At the same time, the operating frequency range of the device itself is safe for humans and does not have a negative impact on their health. Like other devices of this type, the 1000 mm arched metal detector allows you to detect various types of weapons (firearms, stabbing and cutting weapons, gas canisters), recording devices (smartphones, voice recorders), as well as other metal objects.
