The Presidential Academy Has Implemented A Project To Automate The Process Of Registering Visitors And Issuing Guest Passes
The Presidential Academy of RANEPA is the largest university in Russia, represented by 47 branches in 42 regions of the country. The Academy occupies leading positions in the field of training management personnel, scientific research and the implementation of modern educational technologies.
Task
Before the new system was implemented, the Academy used a local solution developed internally. The application process was limited in functionality: there were no flexible settings for visitor categories, it was impossible to select a specific building, automate approvals, or keep records centrally. A significant portion of applications were processed manually, which created risks of errors and delays.
Given the scale of the Academy and its security requirements, a professional, flexible and integrated pass management system was needed. Based on the decision of the Academy's Architectural Council, the PassOffice system was selected, covering all eight sites in Moscow.
Solution
AAM Systems specialists implemented the PassOffice software package, fully integrated with the existing Parsec ACS, which ensured data synchronization and automation of the application life cycle: from creation to admission.

Results
With the introduction of PassOffice, the process of registration and admission of Academy guests has become transparent, centralized and controlled. The processing time of applications has been reduced, the accuracy and reliability of accounting has increased. The system has significantly simplified the work of security services and receptions, allowing the Academy to meet high standards of security and digitalization.
AAM Systems is open to the implementation of similar projects in the fields of education, science and public administration.
