The New Version of Timex 24.4 Software Enables Monitoring and Control of ACS Key Holders

A new release of the modular software product Timex 24.4 for managing an integrated security system has been released.

Integration with electronic key storage systems LoxTop and KeyGuard, support for the modern IPv6 protocol for the new generation Smartec SP-NC441BP controllers, and expanded information in Timex SDK notifications have been implemented. It is worth noting that the new version of the product has significantly increased the speed of applications and services, the ability to search for and add Active Directory operators directly through Timex, more settings for the "Alarm" monitoring cell, etc.

Integration with the electronic key holders LoxTop and KeyGuard provides the ability to add 20 or more key holders to the Timex system and a single interface for conveniently setting up access levels to keys for one or several key holders. In addition, the integrated security system based on the Timex 24.4 software allows monitoring the current status of keys, displays system events (taking/returning keys) in real time, receives information about the position of the key in the key holders and generates reports. For KeyGuard key holders, you can additionally set up the key unlocking time period, alarm signal activation time, battery voltage, etc.

IPv6 protocol support in Timex 24.4 allows to realize all the capabilities of the new generation Smartec SP-NC441BP controllers, due to a wider address space, increased connection speed, increased security level and simplified network administration, compared to the previously used IPv4. The SP-NC441BP controller is designed to build a network access control system (ACS) as part of the integrated Timex or Smartec Security Platform security system, has 2 Ethernet ports operating in repeater mode, freely programmable inputs/outputs and supports Wiegand/OSDP readers.

Added expanded information to Timex SDK notifications: The software module now allows you to instantly receive more detailed information about security system events, including time, device, and employee data associated with a specific event. At the same time, the updated Timex 24.4 integrated security system features increased speed of applications and services, the ability to search and add Active Directory operators directly through Timex, expanded settings for the "Alarm" monitoring cell, and other features.
