The Smartec STX-IP2653AL rev.2 second-generation bispectral IP camera is designed for use in security video surveillance and temperature monitoring systems and is designed for outdoor use.
The new product stands out for its compact body size, and this video surveillance camera with a thermal imager has pre-installed analytical functions, such as smoke detection (including detection of smokers), flame, detection of people and vehicles. The IP camera's video module is based on a 5 MP CMOS matrix, and the thermal imager uses an uncooled matrix with a resolution of 256x192 pixels (interpolation up to 704x576 pixels) and supports three types of temperature measurement rules in the range from -20 to +150 °C.
The all-weather design allows you to use the STX-IP2653AL rev.2 in most regions of the country all year round: the video surveillance camera with a thermal imager is available in a metal case protected by IP66 class and can operate at temperatures from -40 to +60 °C. The ability to select lenses for both the video and thermal imaging modules helps optimize the viewing angle at a specific object. Thus, for the IP camera, there are versions with a fixed lens of 4 mm or 8 mm, and for the thermal imager - 3.5 mm, 7 mm or 10 mm. Increasing the focal length of the thermal camera lens increases the range of detection, recognition and identification of objects.
Effective round-the-clock video monitoring regardless of weather conditions by means of STX-IP2653AL rev.2 is especially in demand at various infrastructure facilities. At the same time, the network video surveillance camera with a thermal imager provides high-quality streams, the resolution of which reaches 2880x1620 pixels in the visible range and 704x576 pixels in the thermal imaging range (interpolation). The built-in IR illuminator allows the camera to form a black-and-white image in complete darkness. For modifications with 4 and 8 mm optics, the maximum range of IR illumination is 35 and 50 m, respectively.
Contactless temperature monitoring is one of the advantages of the new STX-IP2653AL rev.2. This bispectral video surveillance camera with a thermal imager allows you to specify up to 20 different temperature monitoring areas on the image, the range of temperature changes in which varies from -20 to +150 °C, and the measurement accuracy is ±2 °C or ±2%. Three types of temperature measurement rules are available (spot, linear, by area). This functionality is applicable, for example, to detect overheating or abnormal cooling of critical areas of cables, pipelines and equipment in production workshops, at transformer substations, in server rooms, etc.
The camera's intelligent capabilities are diverse and include detection of fire and smoke, as well as intrusion, crossing of one or two virtual lines, delay in the controlled area, movement in an unacceptable direction, entry into and exit from the designated area. In addition, the video surveillance camera with a thermal imager supports the visitor counting function. It is important to note the possibility of using both separate and joint analytical image processing in the visible and thermal ranges. Due to the presence of a standard strobe light and loudspeaker, alarm notification is supported by means of light and sound signaling. Connecting an optional microphone makes it possible to detect abnormal sounds, as well as establish two-way audio communication.
