
The range of network equipment offered by ARMO-Systems has been expanded with the SYMANITRON SWMGP-168GSFP_EW industrial managed switch from the Russian company Simanitron.
It is equipped with 16 ports with PoE injectors for power supply of up to 30 W (up to 480 W in total) to IP cameras, WLAN access points and other devices connected to it using PoE technology. This industrial PoE switch fully complies with industry standards, has an IP40-rated housing and operates stably at temperatures from -40 to +75 °C. Due to the high port density (16 RJ-45, 8 SFP) and the throughput reaching 168 Gbps, the SWMGP-168GSFP_EW industrial switch can be successfully used to combine a large number of IP monitoring, alerting, video surveillance and other security systems into an L2+ network. With 8 SFP connectors of the 100/1000Base-X standard, the industrial switch with PoE allows you to organize switching of video surveillance cameras in large areas, establish a stable high-speed Internet connection, combine objects located at distances of up to several tens of kilometers from each other into a network, and also communicate with other network equipment.
Support for power supply of energy-intensive peripheral IP devices with consumption of up to 30 W is implemented in the SWMGP-168GSFP_EW via 16 copper ports using PoE technology (802.3af/at). At the same time, the total PoE budget of the new product reaches 480 W. Due to this, the industrial switch with PoE ensures the operation of most modern devices, such as IP cameras, including outdoor PTZ models, WLAN access points, etc. Through the built-in control interface, the industrial switch allows you to flexibly configure the output power on any of the ports, as well as program the schedule for turning on and off the power.
The industrial design of the housing in accordance with the IP40 standard ensures reliable protection of the internal parts of the SWMGP-168GSFP_EW switch from dust contamination, and the industrial element base ensures stable operation in the external temperature range from -40 to +75 °C at a relative humidity of up to 95%. At the same time, the industrial switch with PoE is resistant to the effects of such unfavorable factors as vibrations, shocks, electromagnetic pulses and power surges.
