STX-IP5657AL rev.2 Compact Bispectral Thermal Imaging Camera with ≤20 mK Thermal Sensitivity

Smartec's range of products for video surveillance systems has been replenished with a compact bispectral thermal imaging camera STX-IP5657AL rev.2, which, unlike the first-generation model of the same name, has a thermal sensitivity doubled – up to ≤20 mK

The new thermal imaging camera supports three types of non-contact temperature measurement rules and has pre-installed analytical functions such as smoke detection (including smoke detection), flame detection and detection of people and vehicles. Several optics options are available for the thermal imaging module and the visible camera, and a mounting bracket and software are included in the scope of delivery.

Designed for 24/7 operation, the STX-IP5657AL rev.2 bispectral thermal imaging camera can be used in many critical industrial infrastructure facilities that require constant remote temperature monitoring and assessment of the visible spectrum. If the temperature exceeds the preset thresholds, the thermal imaging camera immediately generates an alarm. At the same time, 3 types of temperature measurement rules are available: point, linear, area, the range of recorded temperature changes is in the range from -20 to +150 °C (at the request of the customer, it is possible to expand to +550 °C), the measurement accuracy is ±2 °C or ±2%, and the response time is no more than 30 ms.

The advanced thermal sensor is the main advantage of the STX-IP5657AL rev.2 compared to the first-generation model. The novelty is based on a microbolometric matrix with a resolution of 640x512 pixels. (interpolation up to 1280x1024) and a minimum thermal sensitivity (NETD) of 20 mK. Pseudo-color conversion technology (17 display palette options) and the DVE function improve the visual perception of the thermal picture. Along with this, the bispectral thermal imaging camera has an IP module of the visible spectrum, which provides color image transmission with a detail of up to 2688x1520 pixels. with a minimum illumination of 0.005 lux, and uses a built-in IR floodlight with a illumination range of up to 100 m.

Various versions of lenses for thermal/visible modules allow you to select the STX-IP5657AL rev.2 modification as accurately as possible, depending on the specifics of the tasks to be solved and the size of the monitored area. For example, 5 fixed focal length optics are available for the camera's thermal imaging module – 9, 15, 25, 35 or 50 mm, while the visible-spectrum IP camera module will be equipped with an appropriate lens: for example, the STX-IP5657AL9 rev.2 thermal imaging camera comes with a 9 mm thermal imaging lens and 4 mm IP camera optics, and the STX-IP5657AL50 rev.2 with a 50 mm thermal imaging module lens is equipped with a 10-30 mm zoom lens.

The thermal imaging camera provides an effective solution for video surveillance tasks thanks to a wide range of built-in functions. The STX-IP5657AL rev.2 is capable of detecting intrusion, detecting the crossing of one or two virtual lines, the delay of objects in the observed area, movement in the prohibited direction, as well as controlling the entry and exit in a given area. The presence of a bright white LED and a loudspeaker allows you to implement light and sound alarm notification on the basis of this model. The thermal imaging camera is also equipped with a people counting function and supports the connection of external security sensors and actuators.

The STX-IP5657AL rev.2's networking capabilities include video transmission in multiple configurable streams, using a single IP address for both thermal and visible channels. The standard microphone and loudspeaker allow you to organize two-way sound broadcasting. Data can be written to an embedded memory card with a capacity of up to 256 GB, NAS storage, dashcam, server or PC hard drives. The thermal imaging camera is supplied with client software for setting temperature thresholds and programming alarm response algorithms. In addition, STX-IP5657AL rev.2 integrates seamlessly with many VMS via ONVIF.
