Smartec's range of monitors for video surveillance systems now includes the flagship 42-inch STM-425 rev.2 model on an updated hardware platform
The novelty is equipped with a Full HD LED display, a durable metal case and a protective glass screen. The professional video surveillance monitor comes with the necessary accessories: a stand for placing on a table, a power cord, a 15-pin D-Sub cable and an audio cable. With HDMI, BNC and D-Sub (VGA) connections, this 42" monitor is compatible with a wide range of video sources.
For maximum efficiency and durability, the STM-425 rev.2 uses LED backlighting with high-intensity LEDs. It significantly reduces the power consumption of the monitor and extends the screen life. With a fast 5.5ms pixel response time, you can reproduce dynamic scenes without blurring. Such a 42" video surveillance monitor can be used 24/7 for the purpose of high-quality visual assessment of the situation, for example, when identifying people or registration numbers of cars driving on the highway, and monitoring high-speed technological processes.
Additional comfort for video surveillance operators is provided by adjusting the level of brightness and contrast. The 42-inch display has a maximum brightness of 500 cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 3000:1, ensuring a great viewing experience regardless of the lighting conditions in the room. In addition, the 42-inch video surveillance monitor features 3DNR and an Anti Burn-in mode, which improves the reliability of the equipment during long-term static image output.
With mainstream HDMI, VGA, and BNC (pass-through) connectivity and a variety of video viewing scenarios, the 42" monitor can be used in any surveillance system. At the same time, the 42-inch surveillance monitor supports the ability to transmit audio from a PC and/or external devices connected to the RCA (L/R) audio input. The back panel of the case is equipped with VESA mounting holes (200×200 mm) designed for mounting on a wall or column.
