Smartec's range of products now includes its own fire alarm transmission system (FAT) Vesta-01F-SPI.
It is a certified solution for centralized monitoring and control of fire automatics at facilities located at a considerable distance from the centralized fire post. This notification transmission system complies with clause 4.1.2 of GOST 34701 and can operate both via its own communication channels and via communication channels of third-party organizations. It includes the SPI-POO facility terminal device (FTP), the SPI-PPO control panel terminal device (CPT), a radio repeater (RTR), and an automated operator workstation (AWS) with visualization on graphic plans and instructions for the dispatcher.
The interaction of the fire automatic equipment at a remote facility with the central post within the framework of the fire notification transmission system is performed by two main devices: the facility terminal device (FTP) SPI-POO and the control panel terminal device (CPD) SPI-PPO. In this case, the SPI-POO is installed directly at the protected facility and ensures the collection of data from the control panels (CPD) and the transmission of notifications based on them, such as "Fire", "Attention", "Malfunction", etc., and also monitors the serviceability of alarm loops and communication lines. To improve the reliability of data transmission from the SPI-POO "to the center", the main or backup communication channel is used.
On the side of the central post from the Vesta-01F-SPI system, there is a remote control terminal device (RCT) of the SPI-PPO series. It receives, registers, stores and displays information coming from the SPI-POO directly or via the radio repeater (RTR) SPI-RTR, which is used if the notification transmission system cannot use a direct channel due to a large distance or interference. SPI-PPO informs the operator about the alarm type, the object address and the event time, monitors the operability of the communication channels with the SPI-POO and SPI-RTR and transmits notifications to the automated workstation (AWS). Note that the RCT is available in a case for wall mounting (SPI-PPO-1) and for desktop placement (SPI-PPO-2).
The SPI-ARM automated dispatcher workstation (AWS) with a user-friendly interface provides control over the state of the fire alarm transmission system. For immediate response to alarm events recorded by the alarm transmission system, any change in the state of the fire alarm automation is displayed in the Objects panel and on the graphic plans by changing the color of the icons/polygons. In the event of an alarm event, the Alarm Window window will display a graphic plan indicating the object, zone, and device that has entered the alarm state, and the Events window will display all changes in the state of the system and instructions for further actions.
