"ARMO-Systems" presented outdoor IR motion sensors of barrier type ST-PD064BLT-MC brand Smartec in the form of landscape lamp, which consist of two devices working in pairs (receiver and transmitter) and provide not only perimeter protection, but also illumination of the protected area in the dark.
Thanks to the IP65 class housing and support for automatic adaptation algorithms to environmental conditions, motion sensors for perimeter protection can be installed in open areas without additional protection. The advantages of the ST-PD064BLT-MC model also include the ability to select a frequency channel and the presence of LED indicators for adjustment.
The receiver and transmitter included in the ST-PD064BLT-MC kit are identical in design. These IR motion sensors for perimeter protection are a pair of stands made in the form of a landscape lamp, with an E27 base in the upper part of the housing (the lamp is not included). In the middle part of the housing there is either a receiver or a transmitter, which are mounted on an aluminum profile hidden behind a polycarbonate casing. Thanks to this design, outdoor motion sensors can be used not only for perimeter protection, but also for lighting the territory, and are a stylish element of landscape design.
Like other barrier-type motion sensors, the ST-PD064BLT-MC are used as the outermost elements of perimeter security, forming a protective strip of IR beams between the receiver and transmitter at a distance of up to 60 m outdoors and up to 180 m indoors. These perimeter security motion sensors are 4-beam devices that transmit an alarm signal when one or two adjacent IR beams are simultaneously interrupted if the interruption time exceeds 40 ms. Support for two working frequency channels makes it possible to operate several ST-PD064BLT-MC sets in close proximity to each other to build a complex perimeter security configuration.
Motion sensors provide high resistance to false alarms and correct operation in rain, snow and strong gusts of wind due to the support of the algorithm of automatic adaptation to environmental conditions. At the same time, the ST-PD064BLT-MC models are designed for operation at temperatures from -30 to +60 °C at a humidity of 10%−95% and are supplied in a case protected by class IP65. In case of unauthorized attempts to open the case, motion sensors for perimeter protection signal such cases, transmitting an alarm message to the control panel of the security alarm. To indicate their current state, the new products are equipped with an LED and a buzzer.
