RR-PRO-RTR allows you to organize additional signal transmission routes via a redundant wire line based on the RS-485 interface, ensuring a reliable connection between remote sections of the system. Analyzing the states of communication channels, the hybrid repeater can automatically select the most suitable communication method - a radio channel or a wire line. This approach not only increases the reliability of the system, but also fully complies with the requirements of SP 484 on the stability of communication lines to a single fault, ensuring duplication and fault tolerance of communications.
The use of a hybrid repeater can significantly increase the coverage area of the Strelets-PRO radio network , which will be an important advantage for large and geographically dispersed facilities.
One of the possible applications of RR-PRO-RTR is to provide communication between parts of the system separated by several floors, massive interfloor ceilings or a distance that is difficult to cover using a radio signal.
Another option for use is connecting repeaters via a wire line in a separate part of the building where organizing radio communications is impractical, for example, in the basement or on the technical floor.
The RR-PRO-RTR communication lines fully comply with the requirements of SP 484 on the stability of communication lines to a single fault (clause 5.3, 5.4).
The repeater's wired communication line is implemented as 2 duplicate RS-485 interface lines, which ensures the system's operability even if one of them is broken - the second line will continue transmitting the signal. Short circuits do not affect the device's operation, since it is isolated from the interface lines.
High reliability of radio channel communication is achieved by using six frequency channels, two receiving and transmitting paths in each repeater and mesh network technology, which allows each device in the radio network to have up to 127 backup connections.
Automatic selection between wired and radio channel communication depending on the channel status guarantees continuous operation even in the event of a complete failure of the wire line, leaving multiple redundant radio channel communication.
These measures make RR-PRO-RTR reliable and resistant to single communication line faults.
RR-PRO-RTR supports connection of up to 127 repeaters via a wire line with a total length of up to 1,200 meters. The repeater is equipped with a built-in 18650 battery, which ensures uninterrupted operation of the device even when the main power supply is disconnected. The ability to mount the BP-12/0.5 power supply unit on the supporting panel simplifies installation of the device.
Key advantages of RR-PRO-RTR:
// Support for radio and wired communication lines;
// Automatic selection of signal transmission method;
// Redundant wired interface line;
// Dynamic routing in radio network;
// Built-in backup power supply;
// Mounting on the supporting panel BP-12/0.5.
RR-PRO-RTR will become a reliable tool for providing communications in difficult conditions where high flexibility and stability of the system are required.
