Professional Alerting Software Tonmind PA System Pro Now Available for Linux

The new release of Tonmind PA System Pro software for managing and monitoring alert systems is developed for Linux OS.

At the same time, the software functionality is no different from Windows solutions: the Linux version of the notification program also has a client-server architecture, a built-in SIP server, is designed to work with various audio sources and supports multicast audio broadcasting via the RTP protocol. Flexible settings and ease of management allow PA System Pro software to easily manage notification systems, set and control broadcast zones, start voice message transmission and playback of recorded audio files, etc.

The release of the Linux version allows using the full functionality of the Tonmind PA System Pro program to manage notification systems, including at state enterprises in Russia. The Linux version provides the ability to switch to the use of open source operating systems, which, in accordance with Russian legislation, will become mandatory from 2025 for government agencies. Due to its extensive functionality, reliability and user-friendly Russian-language interface, the Tonmind notification program can be effectively used in educational, medical and sports institutions, as well as at transport and production facilities.

The functionality of the notification program allows you to play sound from various audio sources, including calls via SIP channels, radio broadcasts, MS Windows players, Spotify, iTunes, VLC, etc. With the help of Tonmind PA System Pro, you can easily and effectively combine the broadcast of recorded and "live" voice messages with the playback of background music. Thanks to the support of ONVIF specifications, this notification program also provides the ability to view up to 16 video streams from surveillance cameras, IP intercoms and other image sources.

The client-server architecture of Tonmind PA System Pro allows for multi-user management of professional notification systems at large-scale facilities, including those distributed geographically. The professional PA System Pro notification program converts multi-channel incoming audio for its multicast network broadcast via SIP and RTP Multicast protocols, and supports centralized control of devices and systems running other Tonmind brand programs (in particular, PA System Lite). At the same time, the maximum number of supported audio devices (broadcast zones) that can be controlled using the PA System Pro program reaches 1000.
