
The key cross-industry event of the year, setting the direction for digital transformation, development of urban spaces, construction and road complex of the country, was held in Perm.
The forum, organized by the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation together with the Government of the Perm Region, the Smart City Competence Center and the ANO Digital Transformation Laboratory, became the central federal platform for dialogue between the state, business, science and society on the creation of smart, comfortable and safe cities. The Securika Moscow International Exhibition also acted as an information partner of the event.

The event broke the record for the number of participants: more than 1,500 representatives from more than 60 regions of Russia, including heads of federal and regional government bodies, city heads, leading industry experts, developers, IT developers and futurologists, arrived in Perm to exchange experiences and develop strategic solutions.
The Forum was attended by key ministers and heads of federal agencies, which underlines the high status of the event and its importance for achieving national goals:

The event's large-scale business program covered topics from technology to urban philosophy. Over the course of two days, more than 20 discussion platforms were open on seven key tracks:
// Digital vertical of the construction complex and housing and communal services: typical cloud solutions (TOP) “Smart City”, “Construction Management” and “Communal Infrastructure Management” are presented;
// Digital sovereignty and cybersecurity: experts discussed the protection of critical infrastructure from new challenges and threats;
// Integrated development of territories (IDT): PPP models and mechanisms for synchronization with the development of transport and social infrastructure have been developed;
// Transport and road network: solutions for the platformization of road activities and the implementation of intelligent transport systems are presented;
// Comfortable and safe environment: modern approaches to improvement and safety, citizen involvement and creation of public spaces were discussed;
// Creative industries and architecture: the role of cultural code and narrative in the formation of urban identity and the development of tourism potential is examined;
// A look into the future: at a futurological session with the participation of Danila Medvedev and Konstantin Trofimenko, the image of cities in 50–100 years was modeled; at a public discussion with Artemy Lebedev, the integration of design and technology in the process of creating a comfortable urban environment was discussed.

The central result of the Forum was the understanding that technological progress serves, first of all, people. "The city of the future is people. Everything that is being built and modernized is needed by those who live in cities ," emphasized the Governor of Perm Krai Dmitry Makhonin.
The results of the IQ Cities Rating were summed up at the closing ceremony. The top five cities with a population of over one million were:

The Minister of Construction and Housing and Public Utilities of the Russian Federation Irek Faizullin focused on the large-scale work within the framework of the national project "Infrastructure for Life", and the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Andrei Nikitin noted that the Perm Territory is ahead of schedule in modernizing the road network.
Participants were able to get acquainted with advanced Russian developments at a large-scale exhibition display of solutions in the field of smart cities, construction and housing and communal services, the size of the development of which exceeded 11 thousand square meters.

The Forum included the first qualifying round of the international championship "Battle of Robots", which became a bright addition to the business program. The competition was held in the arena of the UDS "Molot" and attracted 28 teams from Russia, Kazakhstan, Iran and India. Participants competed in two categories: robots weighing up to 110 kg and mini-robots up to 1.5 kg. The prize fund of the championship was 6.6 million rubles, and the number of spectators in the arena was 8.8 thousand people.
The Perm Development Forum "Cities of the Future" not only summed up the work done, but also formed a clear roadmap, securing its status as the main annual federal platform for determining the development vectors of Russian cities.
