Due to its compact body – only ø 37 mm – and ease of installation, this Touch Memory reader will be the optimal solution both for recording working hours and for identifying employees in production and not only, integrating into various access control systems. Note that these devices of the Touch Memory standard have a simple design with no moving parts and mechanisms.
A high level of security and reliability is provided by Touch Memory technology (also known as iButton), using which the reader identifies unique information stored on a special electronic key the size of a tablet. At the same time, the unique code is almost impossible to forge. Note that both the Touch Memory reader and the keys are highly vandal-resistant, since their chip is protected by a durable metal case (the reader also has a compound).
Work outdoors or indoors is provided by the design of this reader model. Thus, the electronic parts of the device are protected by a polymer compound, which provides it with a high degree of "tightness" in the presence of dust and moisture - according to the IP68 class. This Touch Memory reader is designed to withstand almost all weather conditions, temperatures from -40° to +60°C and humidity up to 95% and has a rugged metal housing (to protect against vandals). Note that the compact form factor - only 37 mm in diameter - makes it possible to install the ST-TR240 even where there is not enough space for a classic reader.
