New stabilized RACK ST-PS120DRD-BK power supply by Smartec for 16 consumers

The new Smartec ST-PS120DRD-BK power supply has a metal casing and is made in a form factor for mounting in a 19" rack rack

It can be used to power up to 16 12V devices in any security system (video surveillance, access control, burglar and fire alarms) without redundant power supply. For easy monitoring of the status of the 220V line and output channels, the RACK power supply uses LED indicators. In addition, this model protects connected devices from voltage surges, short circuits, and overloads.

The RACK ST-PS120DRD-BK power supply is designed to supply power to 12 V consumers and is equipped with 16 channels, evenly grouped into 2 sections. The voltage and current draw of each group are displayed on two separate digital screens placed on the front of the device, allowing for easy setup and operation. The presence of indicator lights allows you to quickly monitor the status of the 220 V power line and the 12 V output signal separately for each channel. In addition, the RACK power supply protects each channel with a self-healing fuse.

The ST-PS120DRD-BK's built-in stabilization system prevents damage to expensive equipment used in video surveillance, access control, security and fire safety systems due to power surges. The new RACK power supply maintains the stable 12V output required by most safety devices with a built-in regulator that can withstand power fluctuations of up to ±10%. The maximum amperage per channel is 1.6 A, and if more output current is required, multiple channels of the unit can be used in parallel.

The implementation of protective functions prevents breakdowns of both the power supply itself and the equipment connected to it. For example, the ST-PS120DRD-BK model has short-circuit protection, which usually occurs when conductors are damaged or peripheral devices malfunction, overload protection that is triggered when the maximum load power exceeds the maximum possible output power of the power supply. If there is a sudden increase in amperage, the RACK power supply will automatically disconnect from the load, maintaining its operability.
