New Smartec ST-RB156BR-L Pack 1 Barrier With A 6-Meter Boom And A Resource Of 5 Million Cycles

The Smartec range of equipment for restricting the passage of vehicles has been expanded with a set of automatic barriers with a 6-meter telescopic boom ST-RB156BR-L Pack 1 at a special price.

ST-RB156BR-L Pack 1 has all the necessary inputs and outputs for connecting peripheral equipment and additionally supports the RS485 interface and CAN bus, so it can be used at the entrance to the protected territory of shopping centers, business centers, enterprises, parking lots and residential complexes with various access scenarios. In addition, the 6-meter barrier supports a number of protective functions, including auto-reverse and boom folding.

The ST-RB156BR-L Pack 1 barrier can operate both autonomously and as part of the facility's access control system (ACS) thanks to the use of a multifunctional controller located in the cabinet. When operating autonomously, the barrier with a 6-meter boom is controlled using a remote control included in the delivery set, and for integration into the ACS, it can be additionally equipped with a card reader, for example, the ST-LR310 UHF model with a response distance of up to 9 meters. In addition, the ST-RB156BR-L Pack 1 barrier can be controlled using a video surveillance system and the Timex LPR-1 software module, providing automatic reading and recognition of vehicle license plates.

The adjustment of the barrier passage width from 3.5 to 6 meters due to the use of the ST-RB036TA telescopic boom makes the ST-RB156BR-L Pack 1 kit universal, allowing it to restrict passage to various areas. In addition, the boom is not subject to corrosion and is suitable for outdoor use, as it is made of aluminum alloy. Special reflective stickers included in the kit make the 6-meter barrier more visible. To increase safety during operation of the ST-RB156BR-L Pack 1, the 6-meter boom can be retrofitted with a ST-RB006RE rubber shock-absorbing edge.

The reliability of the design and stable operation in a wide range of temperatures - from 40 to +55 C - make the ST-RB156BR-L Pack 1 barrier an optimal tool for regulating the passage of vehicles into closed areas in most Russian regions. It is worth noting that this barrier with a 6-meter boom is equipped with a brushless motor, the working life of which is about 5 million cycles of operation at 100% intensity of use. Thanks to this equipment, the ST-RB156BR-L Pack 1 barrier ensures a long service life.

The presence of a boom folding mechanism and auto-reverse is an additional advantage of the ST-RB156BR-L Pack 1. This 6-meter barrier is designed in such a way that the boom can be installed both with rigid fixation and with the possibility of using a folding mechanism. If the folding mechanism is engaged, when a car runs over the 6-meter boom, it is not damaged, but is moved to the side. Thanks to the auto-reverse function, if an obstacle is detected during the closing of the 6-meter barrier (for example, a passing car), the boom will begin to move in the opposite direction.
