Microwave detectors are fundamentally new equipment in the Smartec line
They are designed for early detection of people/vehicles over long distances within the framework of video surveillance systems and work in conjunction with one or more high-speed PTZ cameras and an integrated software platform. At the same time, the STDM-103A microwave detectors are able to detect objects at a distance of up to 600 meters, regardless of weather conditions and time of day, and transmit data on the location, speed and direction of movement to up to 32 recorded targets simultaneously.
The STDM-103A detector can be qualitatively expanded by means of detecting potential threats by means of a video surveillance system in conjunction with a high-speed PTZ camera and an integrated software control platform. In particular, these microwave detectors are compatible with STC-IPM4960A PTZ IP cameras, which feature 37x optical and 16x digital zoom, 4 MP resolution and IR illumination with a range of up to 400 m IPPT5958AL. In such a complex, monitoring will be carried out in the microwave, visible and thermal imaging spectrums in parallel.
Operation at the "open" frequency of 24 GHz does not require licensing of the microwave detector and obtaining permits for its use. At the same time, the maximum detection range of a person/vehicle with the STDM-103A can reach 450/600 meters. These microwave detectors are capable of detecting up to 32 targets at the same time, moving at speeds ranging from 0.5 to 30 m/s, and the error in measuring speed and angle does not exceed 0.006 m/s and ±1°, respectively. Since the STDM-103A has IP66 protection and is designed for outdoor operating conditions in the temperature range from -40 to +75 °C, such a detector can be used to protect the perimeters and areas of critical mining, storage, transport and production facilities.
An integral part of a comprehensive solution based on STDM-103A is a specialized software platform (in desktop and mobile versions), which implements equipment control, live video viewing, signal processing and alarm response settings, etc. The capabilities of the software product also allow you to divide the detector's "field of view" into several sectors: early warning zones (targets are detected and tracked by video from cameras), masking zones (targets are not tracked) and alarm zones/lines (signal communication, video recording/playback, etc. are activated).
