Structurally, the ST-PD064BLP-MC consists of 3 functional parts: the upper part is a lamp with an E27 base (the lamp is not included in the kit), the middle part is occupied by an outdoor security detector , which is mounted on an aluminum profile hidden behind a polycarbonate casing, and the lower part is a mounting base. The detector is an active 4-beam infrared (IR) motion sensor with a transceiver on one base and operates as an intermediate perimeter security element in tandem from several devices. The ST-PD064BLP-MC is triggered when 1 or 2 adjacent IR beams are interrupted for about 40 ms.

With a height of about one meter, the outdoor security detector is suitable for use not only outdoors, but also indoors, while the range of the IR barrier will be 60 and 180 m, respectively. When installed at a distance less than the maximum, for correct operation of the device, you can reduce the power of IR radiation using a special jumper. Configuration of the ST-PD064BLP-MC is performed using DIP switches, and to indicate its current state, the outdoor detector is equipped with an LED and a buzzer.
