The ST-PD064BLP-MC is supplied in a dust- and moisture-proof housing with IP65, supports an algorithm for automatic adaptation to environmental conditions to eliminate false alarms and provides for the selection of a frequency channel for use in a perimeter protection system of a complex configuration.

Structurally, the ST-PD064BLP-MC consists of 3 functional parts: the upper part is a lamp with an E27 base (the lamp is not included in the kit), the middle part is occupied by an outdoor security detector , which is mounted on an aluminum profile hidden behind a polycarbonate casing, and the lower part is a mounting base. The detector is an active 4-beam infrared (IR) motion sensor with a transceiver on one base and operates as an intermediate perimeter security element in tandem from several devices. The ST-PD064BLP-MC is triggered when 1 or 2 adjacent IR beams are interrupted for about 40 ms.

The outdoor design of the case and support of a number of software functions guarantee correct operation of the ST-PD064BLP-MC model in central Russia all year round. The case of the device corresponds to the dust and moisture protection class IP65, and the operating temperature range varies from -30С to +60С. Support for the algorithm of automatic adaptation to environmental conditions makes the outdoor security detector resistant to false alarms during rain, snowfall and strong gusts of wind. In addition, the ST-PD064BLP-MC is equipped with a sensor that signals unauthorized attempts to open the case by transmitting an alarm message to the security alarm control panel.

The ability to select one of two frequency channels allows using the ST-PD064BLP-MC to protect a complex perimeter without mutual influence of detectors on each other. With a height of about one meter, the outdoor security detector is suitable for use not only outdoors, but also indoors, while the range of the IR barrier will be 60 and 180 m, respectively. When installed at a distance less than the maximum, for correct operation of the device, you can reduce the power of IR radiation using a special jumper. Configuration of the ST-PD064BLP-MC is performed using DIP switches, and to indicate its current state, the outdoor detector is equipped with an LED and a buzzer.
