Tonmind's new IP module enables audio management and integration in security, automation, and communication systems. The SIP-T30 SIP controller controls external actuators and speakers via the RS-485 bus using the open Modbus communication protocol. Bidirectional audio communication is realized by connecting a microphone and loudspeaker to the corresponding input and output interfaces of this audio signal converter, and the built-in 15W amplifier allows for a wider range of applications. In addition, the SIP-T30 controller is equipped with alarm inputs and outputs to which up to 16 external sensors and up to 8 actuator relays can be connected.
The integration capabilities of the SIP-T30 allow the controller to be used to convert audio signals within a variety of communication systems. Thanks to the support of the standard SIP protocol, the controller is easily integrated into the infrastructure of IP PBX, VoIP systems and integrates with other SIP-compatible devices. Compatibility with ONVIF makes it possible to use the novelty in security systems, including IP video surveillance systems managed by various VMS platforms. At the same time, the SIP controller works with OPUS (48 kHz) and G.722 ADPCM (16 kHz) audio codecs, MP3 algorithm (44.1 kHz), etc.
The SIP controller's rugged metal enclosure measures 19.8×10.2×2.6 cm, making it easy to fit into any space, while the included fasteners simplify the installation process. Stable and secure operation of the SIP-T30 in corporate and industrial networks is ensured by the support of network security mechanisms. For variable device connection, the SIP controller can be supplied with power both from an external 12 V DC voltage source and via an Ethernet cable using the PoE standard.
Along with the SIP-T30 SIP controller, this Tonmind series includes SIP-T20 and SIP-T21 SIP adapters (gateways), designed to implement SIP functionality when connecting analog equipment to an audio system and differ in a set of external interfaces. For example, the SIP-T20 has microphone and headset inputs, a speaker output, a GPIO output and 2 alarm inputs, as well as a relay output, while the SIP-T21 has 2 LAN network ports, microphone and loudspeaker connectors, 2 inputs and 2 alarm outputs.
