AVIX AV.SG.6629 has a minimalist design without visible fasteners, and its compact body is made of polished stainless steel SUS304 and aluminum alloy with a fluorocarbon ceramic coating that does not leave fingerprints. The IP42 protection rating of the body and the operating temperature range from -20 to +70 °C allow this compact turnstile to be used , for example, in unheated but weather-protected checkpoints. It is important to note that along with the standard color options for the body - silver and champagne - 20 other colors are available as an option to the customer.
Despite its compact dimensions (L1600×W140×H1000 mm), the thickness of the upper cover of the turnstile is 7 mm, which allows placing additional ACS equipment on its body, for example, face recognition terminals of any weight. With their help, as well as other types of biometric terminals, card/QR code readers, breathalyzers, etc., the compact AVIX AV.SG.6629 turnstile can be connected to various systems, including access control systems, toll systems, ticket systems, breathalyzer systems, etc. At the same time, the LED backlighting of the housings and wings is responsible for intuitive control of people flows in the AV.SG.6629.
Continuous monitoring of the access zone is provided by 14 pairs of infrared (IR) sensors installed in the compact body of the turnstile. In particular, they are used to implement protection against repeated passage - "one card - one person", and against passage in the opposite direction. The compact turnstile also has a burglar protection function, when the rotary mechanism is automatically blocked when trying to open the flaps manually without prior user identification. At the same time, the turnstile's operating algorithms do not allow a person to collide with the flaps or get pinched.
Long service life - up to 20 million cycles, stable and reliable operation of the turnstile, as well as a low noise level (less than 50 dB), are ensured by the use of the AV.SG.6629 DC servo drive in its design. Vector control technology used in the design of the device allows for high performance of the turnstile motor, as well as a wide range and accuracy of opening speed control (max. 0.3 s). In addition, in accordance with Russian fire safety standards, the compact turnstile supports the "Anti-panic" mode: when the power is disconnected, its wings are automatically unlocked.
