In the second-generation Smartec OPTi budget line, a new feature is the STC-IPM8544A rev.2 OPTi vandal-resistant dome camera with a modern element base with an improved user menu
With 4K resolution, a built-in IR spotlight, a motorized lens, and video-enhancing features, the 8MP Dome camera captures clear images in a variety of light conditions. An additional advantage of the 8 MP STC-IPM8544A rev.2 OPTi model is the built-in microphone and alarm interfaces, which expand the functionality of the camera within video surveillance systems.
An 8 MP image (corresponding to 3840x2160 pixels), which is formed by the STC-IPM8544A rev.2 OPTi camera, as well as a refresh rate of up to 25 frames per second, available at maximum resolution, allows you to examine the elements of the frame in detail, including people's faces, license plates, etc. At the same time, the 8 MP dome camera provides multi-stream video broadcasting with customizable parameters: a choice of one of two universal high-performance codecs (H.265 and H.264), the required resolution, frame rate and bitrate (up to 12 Mbps). This helps optimize the video stream settings for the current viewing and recording.
Adaptation to any light conditions makes it possible to use the STC-IPM8544A rev.2 OPTi in round-the-clock video monitoring systems. This 8 MP dome camera is capable of producing high-quality color images in illumination down to 0.01 lux on the subject, and black and white images even in complete darkness by activating an IR floodlight with a range of up to 40 meters. To compensate for overexposed and/or darkened areas of the frame in an 8 MP image, the camera supports WDR 120 dB wide dynamic range mode, and uses 2D/3D DNR digital filters to minimize the noise components of the video signal.
The STC-IPM8544A rev.2 OPTi's advanced features include a 2.7-13.5mm motorized lens, which can be adjusted and focused remotely without the need to open the body to gain physical access to the optics. In addition, the 8MP dome camera is equipped with a built-in microphone and speaker output, allowing for bi-directional audio transmission. Removable microSD memory cards with a capacity of up to 512 GB can be used for local recording and storage of video and audio data, for which a special slot is provided in the camera case.
The vandal-resistant outdoor design in accordance with IK10/IP66 classes and the operating temperature range from -40 to +60 °C allow the dome to be used year-round in harsh climatic conditions. At the same time, its small dimensions - the diameter and height of the dome body 132x103.9 mm - provide for a wide variability of installation, including in confined spaces. The 8 MP dome camera can receive the power supply directly from a 12 V DC source or using PoE technology through a network interface, and the power consumption does not exceed 8 W.
