AWADA DA2-DR Dimmable Drivers For LED Luminaires Presented

The product line of Avada Systems, a Russian developer and manufacturer of IoT products and solutions, has been expanded with dimmable drivers for LED luminaires DA2-DR026.0700-PCF2004 and DA2-DR042.1050-PCF2005, which are part of the DA2-DR series.

These models comply with class II protection, are connected to a 220-240 V AC network and supply LED luminaires with direct current with a nominal power of 26 and 42 W, respectively. Both LED luminaire drivers are compatible with AWADA automated control systems, have a long service life and a 5-year manufacturer's warranty, and control can be implemented using the DALI-2 protocol or a Push button.

The AWADA DA2-DR series includes new models of drivers DA2-DR026.0700-PCF2004 and DA2-DR042.1050-PCF2005, which are designed to connect LED luminaires with a maximum voltage of 26.25 and 42 W, respectively. The output current/voltage of both models is adjusted using DIP switches: for DA2-DR026.0700-PCF2004 in the ranges of 150-700 mA / from 9-52 to 9-37.5 V DC, and for DA2-DR042.1050-PCF2005 - 150-1050 mA / from 2.5-52 to 2.5-40 V DC. The typical efficiency of these drivers for LED luminaires is at the level of 85-87%.

Centralized control of the DA2-DR026.0700-PCF2004 and DA2-DR042.1050-PCF2005 drivers can be implemented via the DALI-2 protocol or using the Push button. The DALI-2 protocol allows connection of up to 64 such devices in 16 groups, and by pressing one Push button, 32 drivers can be controlled simultaneously. Each driver for LED luminaires from the new series provides smooth dimming across the entire spectrum (from 1 to 100%), both in DALI-2 (IEC 62386-101, 102, 207, 251, 252, 253) and Push Dimming (Corridor Function) modes.

The service life of LED luminaire drivers is more than 50,000 hours, which corresponds to 5.7 years of continuous operation in 24/7 mode. In confirmation of the declared characteristics, the manufacturer provides a 5-year warranty for the DA2-DR026.0700-PCF2004 and DA2-DR042.1050-PCF2005 devices. At the same time, each such driver for LED luminaires has protection against overloads up to 120%, short circuits (SC), as well as overheating and overvoltage, which partly allows for such an operational life.

Along with drivers, this AWADA product line includes power supplies DA2-DR035.0350-MLF2001, DA2-DR075.0600-MLF2002 and DA2-DR100.0700-MLF2003 for servicing LED luminaires with a power of up to 35, 75 and 100 W, respectively. These dimmable DALI-compatible devices are programmed using the NFC interface, have protection class I, and their efficiency is 90-93%. It is worth noting that all AWADA products comply with the requirements of TR CU 004/2011 "On the safety of low-voltage equipment" and TR CU 020/2011 "Electromagnetic compatibility of technical equipment".
