ARMO-Systems Will Supply Video Surveillance Equipment from Russian Manufacturer Panokam
A partnership agreement in the field of video surveillance systems was concluded between the companies ARMO-Systems (part of the engineering holding ARMO) and Panokam, a Russian manufacturer of video equipment and control software.
"ARMO-Systems" becomes the official distributor of the entire range of Panocam products, which includes IP cameras in a variety of designs, including those with elements of artificial intelligence "on board", network video recorders, and control software. The confirmed Russian origin of Panocam products ensures the possibility of their use in import substitution projects, and Panocam's own production facilities allow it to produce large batches of equipment in a short time.
The growing interest of leading security market players in Panocam products and the dynamic development of this company are due to its own equipment development and localization of video surveillance systems production in Russia. The high quality and origin of Panocam products are confirmed by inclusion in the relevant registers: thus, more than 50 items from the video camera line are included in the Unified Register of Russian Radio-Electronic Products of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation in accordance with the RF Government Resolution of 10.07.17 No. 878 (as amended on 09.12.23), and the status of a Russian manufacturer of industrial products is confirmed by PP No. 719. Thanks to these permits, the Panocam video surveillance system can be used at strategically important facilities.
Using its production base, Panokam produces a wide range of video surveillance cameras, the flagship of which is the patented Panokam-180 network video cameras with a unique design, where the key design features are a mirror for panoramic viewing and a semicircular glazing shape. These all-weather 2-8 MP Panocam video cameras have certified electronic components, viewing angles of 90° vertically and 180° horizontally, an optional IR illumination module and are capable of solving various tasks - from perimeter protection at near and far approaches to installation on special equipment, for which their technical "stuffing" can be individually assembled.
The Panokam product portfolio includes about 150 video camera positions of various form factors, as well as 4-16-channel network video recorders of the Panokam-Rec series and software. The available capacities allow for the production of large batches of Panokam-180 IP cameras and other series in a short time: basic-level Panokam-Simple, high-tech Panokam-Pro, multifunctional dome PTZ cameras Panokam-PTZ. It is worth emphasizing that the company uses its own design solutions in the development and production of the main units of Panocam video cameras and NVRs (processor boards, electronic lightning protection boards, PoE boards with heating, IR illumination, etc.). Everything is thought out to the smallest detail, right down to the possibility of painting the housings in the color of the customer's choice.
Panokam video equipment is suitable for installation, including at transport infrastructure facilities: the entire line of Panokam-180 video cameras has a transport safety certificate in accordance with RF Government Resolution No. 969 of September 26, 2016 (No. MVD RF.03.001557 of December 8, 2023). For full-featured use of the Panocam solution, both in transport and in any other area, not only hardware but also software components have been developed. The proprietary software seamlessly integrates and functions on most platforms for video servers and video analytics applications that operate via the ONVIF and RTSP protocols.
