ARMO-Systems Presented the LoxTop Cabinet for Storing Up to 520 Keys
The ARMO-Systems product line has been expanded with smart key storage cabinets IQ 520/520 from the Hungarian brand LoxTop, which provide flexible customization for each facility, be it a stadium, office, bank, car dealership, etc.
Along with storing keys, they are strictly accounted for, and each event (opening/closing the cabinet door, booking/taking/returning the key) is registered in the system. Thanks to integration with ERP and ACS and support for remote management, the key storage cabinet can be made part of the centralized security system of the facility. At the same time, access to the keys in the basic version of the cabinet is possible using an RFID card and/or code, and optionally - using other identification methods, including a fingerprint.
Keys are fixed in the cells using intelligent key fobs equipped with a chip with a unique identifier, the data from which is used to check and identify the key each time it needs to be removed from the cell and/or returned to its place. Thus, the key storage cabinet allows you to keep track of keys, and each event - whether opening or closing the cabinet door, booking, taking and returning the key - is registered in the system. Access to the key in the IQ 520/520 can be implemented using an RFID card or a PIN code, since this cabinet is equipped with a card reader and a touch screen.
The basic capacity of the LoxTop IQ 520/520 is designed to store 520 keys and, at the customer's request, can be expanded with additional modules with cells not only for keys, but also for documents and/or personal belongings. Due to the flexible modular configuration, the key storage cabinet can be easily adapted to the specific features of any facility. To expand the key storage system, LoxTop cabinets can be networked, and they automatically synchronize data with each other. Optionally, the IQ 520/520 can be equipped with additional equipment, such as a fingerprint scanner, USB charger, built-in camera, UV disinfection lamp, etc.
The extensive functionality of the IQ 520/520, including automated electronic key storage, the ability to integrate with ERP and ACS systems, and support for remote management, allows these cabinets to be used in a variety of facilities. For example, when used in car dealerships, the key storage cabinet provides full control over car keys, from receipt to delivery to the customer. Facilities such as data centers, banks, and stadiums will benefit from the software access control feature, as they have areas where only authorized personnel should be present. In agricultural facilities and vehicle depots, the IQ 520/520 provides additional convenience by allowing the location of each bunch of keys to be determined in real time.
Unlocking of keys in case of emergency is realized with the help of a special button on the IQ 520/520 housing and provides the possibility of prompt issuance of keys in case of any emergency. At the same time, the "emergency button" is triggered only after identification of the authorized user (usually the system administrator), i.e. it is protected from accidental pressing. If the key storage cabinet is integrated with the fire alarm system, emergency opening can be initiated automatically when the alarm is triggered. Thanks to the built-in battery, the IQ 520/520 cabinet can operate autonomously even in case of power outage.
