ARMO-Systems Now Offers Tonmind IP Public Address Systems

As an official distributor, ARMO-Systems will supply equipment and software of the Tonmind brand from the Chinese developer and manufacturer of network public address and sound systems (PA) – Tonmind Technology.

Tonmind's wide range includes ceiling, horn, column and other types of IP speakers, SIP adapters, microphone stations, as well as IP video intercoms and control software for organizing notification systems and background sound at commercial, industrial and transport facilities. Tonmind brand products support ONVIF, VoIP, SIP protocols and are compatible with various IP PBXs, as well as with IMS and VMS platforms.

IP systems for public address and background music transmission by Tonmind are gaining popularity in Russia and are used in industrial production, commercial real estate, transport, education, healthcare and many other areas. The proprietary technological developments of the manufacturer of network audio solutions – the Chinese company Tonmind Technology with 14 years of experience in the field of PA (Public Address), and support for industry standards, including ONVIF, VoIP and SIP, provide the ability to integrate the notification system with other security and building automation systems.

ONVIF support (Profiles S and T) ensures seamless integration of the Tonmind IP notification system with video surveillance and security systems and enables two-way audio communication, RTP multicasting, etc. In addition, the Tonmind IP audio system can fully interact with ONVIF-compliant devices and video management platforms (VMS). Other advantages of Tonmind audio solutions include easy connection of IP speakers to Ethernet switches, PoE power supply, use of SIP telephony functions (IPPBX, IP Phone), VoIP, OPUS audio codec (48 kHz), virtual zoning capabilities for up to 1000 zones, streaming broadcasting, as well as remote monitoring of the system status.

The basic element of the Tonmind notification system are SIP-S IP speakers with a power of 15 to 80 W with PoE power supply or from a 12-24 V DC source, various volume levels (up to 120 dB), frequency range and a set of characteristics. Depending on the version, Tonmind IP speakers (ceiling, horn, column acoustic, etc.) are designed for use indoors or outdoors (up to -50 °C). They can have a built-in microphone for listening to the installation area in order to regulate the volume of the broadcast and adapt it to the level of ambient noise, and communication with people there, and an alarm input for connecting external sensors. Due to SIP support, Tonmind speakers are compatible with VoIP devices and IP telephony, and via ONVIF - with software for managing video from IP cameras.

The Tonmind range also includes network microphone stations for implementing two-way audio communication between the operator and loudspeaker installation sectors, transmitting routine/emergency messages, controlling background music broadcasting, public address system and evacuation in emergency situations. SIP-T20 network adapters are used to integrate analog speakers into the Tonmind IP notification systems. D26 network call panels with a Full HD camera and microphone are used to implement video intercom communication. The Tonmind IP audio system can be controlled using the proprietary Tonmind PA System software, Lite and Pro versions, as well as through the PA Connect mobile application (for iOS and Android).
