ARMO-Systems has become an official partner of NEOSCAN, one of the leading Russian suppliers and manufacturers of inspection equipment, a member of the Transport Security Association
Within the framework of cooperation, ARMO-Systems will promote NEOSCAN products on the Russian market: X-ray television inspection units (introscopes) with AI recognition of 35 types of threats and a certificate according to PP RF No969, walk-through metal detectors with network control and up to 33 detection zones, as well as radio wave scanners for contactless inspection with a capacity of up to 700 people per hour. All these devices have a wide range of applications: sports facilities, transport hubs, business centers, schools, hospitals, banks, etc.
Founded in 2013, NEOSCAN started as a distributor of advanced and reliable inspection systems for transportation facilities and is now actively cooperating with such eminent brands as Smiths Detection and CEIA. In 2022, the company launched its own line of products for the inspection of people and things under the NEOSCAN trademark of the same name, which is produced in Russia and includes X-ray television installations (introscopes), arched metal detectors, radio wave scanners for contactless inspection of a person, etc.
NEOSCAN inspection equipment is used at many Russian airports, including Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo, Strigino, Pulkovo, Platov, Krasnoyarsk, Vladivostok, Kazan, Bolshoye Savino, etc., as well as in the units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the North Caucasus, in Zaryadye Park, etc. like the 2018 FIFA World Cup and the 2019 Universiade.
For effective analysis of things, for example, bags and suitcases, the NEOSCAN assortment includes a wide range of introscopes with a dual-projection X-ray inspection system in the horizontal and vertical planes and integrated AI, which allows you to recognize 35 main types of prohibited and dangerous items. Almost all models of introscopes come complete with the operator's table and support fingerprint/password authentication. Thanks to certification for compliance with the requirements approved by Government Decree No 969 of September 26, 2016, NEOSCAN introscopes can be used as part of security systems at transport facilities in the Russian Federation.
Contactless inspection of people is possible with the help of arched metal detectors and radio wave scanners from NEOSCAN. The brand's walk-through metal detectors are available with 12, 18 or 33 detection zones, a state-of-the-art fireproof design with impact protection and network control, which are capable of detecting metal objects the size of a coin, even at low heights (from 3 cm above the floor). Radio wave scanners create a 3D holographic image of the body of the person being examined, identify and locate various metallic and non-metallic suspicious objects, including those in shoes, with a full scan in 4 seconds.
