The Russian-made AWADA DA2 SEN101 presence detector for operation within the lighting control system has been introduced
Its capabilities include detecting the presence of a person in the room, counting the people who are there, collecting statistics and transmitting information to the lighting control system controller via the DALI 2 protocol. With the help of the DA2 SEN101 human presence sensor, significant energy savings of up to 90% are achieved for lighting. Easy installation and a long service life (with a five-year manufacturer's warranty) reduce operating costs.
The DA2-SEN101 is a state-of-the-art, high-precision presence detector that is optimally suited for use in warehouses with mezzanines. Thanks to innovative AWADA algorithms, the human occupancy sensor can reduce energy consumption by up to 90% and quadruple the life of lighting fixtures, while maintaining comfortable lighting conditions for people on site. Along with counting how many people are in the operating sector of the device, these sensors track the direction of their movement and send the collected information to DALI 2 controllers to provide data on the degree of occupancy of individual areas of the room.
The design features of the DA2-SEN101 probe eliminate blind spots and increase resistance to false alarms, even on sites with slatted and slatted floors. This occupancy sensor allows you to accurately control the lighting in the room, for example, in a warehouse – smoothly turn on the lighting when people appear in the control area and turn off the light only after they leave the "surveillance" sector, which is especially important for narrow aisles between racks. Such a lighting control scheme with the exception of a sudden blackout reduces eye strain and increases the level of comfort of warehouse workers.
The installation of the DA2-SEN101 is extremely simple: this occupancy sensor is fixed with two self-tapping screws on a flat surface, such as the shelf of a warehouse rack. At the same time, the sensor has a modern design and a body made of impact-resistant plastic, which reliably protects the device from mechanical damage.
