The competition is aimed at identifying and promoting the implementation of the latest developments, is designed to identify advanced achievements in the security industry, and also to note the qualitative improvements of products existing on the market. Each year, the commission reviews about 40 applications.
A comprehensive assessment of innovative developments is carried out by an expert jury. The competition committee includes specialists from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the All-Russian Academy of Scientific Research, and professional associations, who have extensive scientific and practical experience in the field of creation, implementation and certification of security equipment.
Among the main criteria for evaluating developments:
// uniqueness and novelty (availability of analogues on the international/Russian market, differences from competitors);
// filling free niches in the Russian market, meeting market needs;
// efficiency and practical usefulness for consumers;
// production status (single, serial), place of production;
// high quality (improved characteristics compared to analogues and/or the original version (for improved products);
// influence on the development of the industry.
The competition regulations provide for several stages:
// From March 26 to April 9, 2025, online voting by the Internet community will be launched on the exhibition website;
// On April 10, 2025, participants will present their developments to experts in a hybrid format (online and offline);
// The award ceremony for the winners will take place on April 24 as part of the Securika Moscow exhibition.
It is worth noting separately that when determining the winners, the final scores given by the jury and the scores scored by the contestants during the online voting will be taken into account. The significance (weight) of the jury members' assessment is 70%, the significance (weight) of the assessment based on the results of the online voting on the competition website is 30%.
