This detector is capable of reliably detecting smoke in large areas or in areas with high ceilings, including sports facilities, transport hub buildings, warehouses, etc., at distances from 8 to 60, 80, 100 or 120 m (depending on the modification). The original design allows the single-position IPDL-75SM to be organically “fitted” into any interior, and the design features ensure efficient operation of the device and high noise immunity.
The IPDL-75SMD detector is structurally identical to the IPDL-75CM model from the same line, with the only difference being that the former supports a two-wire connection, while the latter supports a four-wire connection. A two-wire circuit, as a rule, simplifies installation and reduces the cost of installation, so the single-position IPDL -75SMD is more suitable for small systems with a limited budget. At the same time, both models use a two-chamber optical system to minimize false alarms and are supplied with a highly efficient reflector-reflector that compensates for deviations of the optical beam by ±10-15 degrees from its surface. On the sides of the IPDL-75SMD/CM case, under the mounting covers, there are terminal blocks for external connections, a software switch for device operation tactics, and a connector for connecting the IPDL-75 tester.
The cost of the IPDL-75SMD kit can be optimized due to 4 modifications of the device with an operating range of 8 to 60 m, 8 to 80 m, 8 to 100 m and 8 to 120 m, respectively, which support four response thresholds (50%, 40%, 30% and 20%). Due to this, the single-position IPDL-75SMD can be effectively used for smoke detection at facilities with large open spaces, atrium rooms and ceilings with complex structural elements. Such facilities include sports facilities, transport hub buildings, warehouses and shopping centers, etc. To control and remotely check the operability of the single-position detector, the UV-PRD-PRM remote device is used, which is included in the delivery set.
An additional advantage of the IPDL-75SMD is its operation as part of various fire-fighting systems: the fire detector is compatible with fire-security devices with both alternating and unipolar voltage. Due to the use of original solutions for synchronizing the receiver and transmitter, the single-position IPDL-75SMD has low power consumption (about 1.5 mA), which allows it to be connected to control and monitoring devices via a two-wire line. For stable operation under conditions of electromagnetic and infrared interference, this detector model uses the forced synchronization mode by default, which allows high noise immunity to be achieved right out of the box.
