The Smartec line now includes STC-IPM8940A outdoor IP cameras with a high-speed PT mechanism, a 40x zoom lens and a powerful IR spotlight with a backlight range of up to 500 meters
The novelty is designed for use in outdoor conditions from -50 to +60 ° C, is based on a high-sensitivity CMOS sensor with a resolution of 8 megapixels, supports a wide range of functions and modes and has built-in video analytics. Such an outdoor PTZ camera can also be used as part of the Smartec complex system in conjunction with microwave detectors of the STDM family and control software for early detection of intrusions into the protected area.
Effective video surveillance with the STC-IPM8940A is ensured by the use of a high-speed Pan/Tilt mechanism (up to 300°/s). To obtain a detailed image when observing distant objects, the outdoor PTZ camera is equipped with a powerful zoom with 40x optical zoom (6.8-272 mm) and 16x digital zoom. What's more, this camera supports a wide range of PTZ functions, including 400 presets, 12 scan modes and 12 programmable patrol tours, as well as 3D positioning, automatic scanning and Smart Tracking.
The outdoor camera allows you to receive high-quality video with a resolution of up to 8 MP (3840x2160 pixels) and a frame rate of up to 30 fps. To work in difficult light conditions, the novelty features a hardware high dynamic range mode (True WDR), noise reduction algorithms, Anti-Fog mode, image stabilization functions, etc.
Combined with a microwave detector (radar) and control software, the STC-IPM8940A can be used for early detection of threats 24/7. At the same time, the camera is compatible with the STDM-102A and STDM-103A radars, which detect people/vehicles at distances of up to 150/180 m and 450/600 m respectively, as well as provide basic information about each of the "targets" - distance, speed and direction. As part of a comprehensive solution, the outdoor PTZ camera automatically focuses on fixed objects and activates various scenarios: tracking of "targets", alarm transmission, etc.
The readiness of the STC-IPM8940A PTZ camera to operate in the temperature range from -50 to +60 °C and the high class of climate protection (IP66) make this model a good choice for video surveillance in almost all regions of the country. The camera's high sensitivity (up to 0.005 lux for color imaging) and long-range IR illumination up to 500 m with uniform illumination of the monitored area provide additional advantages in outdoor environments. What's more, the outdoor PTZ camera supports 3 power options – 24 V AC or 36 V DC, as well as PoE++ – which simplifies installation and reduces cabling requirements.
Built-in video analytics algorithms that detect motion, unauthorized access, crossing one or two lines, loitering, moving in the wrong direction and parking violations significantly increase the security potential of the camera. The STC-IPM8940A also implements the functions of capturing images of vehicles, counting people, etc. A memory card can be installed to write data locally to this outdoor PTZ model.
